Tormisa

Tormisa is a remarkable village en route to the south of Libya. Its position in the Nafusa Mountains affords majestic views over the surrounding terrain, but what has built here is equally fascinating. The buildings in Tormisa are, made of mud and stone, seem part of the land. The fact that the Berbers have all deserted the village add a sense of beauty to the interiors of the houses, some of which are left just as they once were used.
